Firing

Crucibles, transfer ladles and special refractory shapes are batch fired in modern gas fired kilns with PLC temperature controls for accurate and consistent monitoring of the critical heating and cooling cycles. Each part has a kiln batch number prior to firing for traceability purposes.

A range of kilns is available with precise computer controlled regulators offering uniform kiln temperatures at up to 1650 deg C. Our kilns have outstanding heat distribution and maximum oxygen in the atmosphere to assure thorough processing of each part every time.
